VBeam Perfecta® Laser is a type of pulsed-dye laser (PDL) and is often referred to as a vascular laser. This laser is excellent in treating skin conditions related to blood vessels. These include the treatment of broken capillaries, rosacea, acne, stretch marks, facial and spider veins, and other vascular lesions.

How does a vascular laser work?

This vascular laser emits focused light into the skin and targets the underlying blood vessels without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue. The blood vessels absorb the light, thus destroying the blood vessels and allowing them to be reabsorbed by the body. The destruction of these blood vessels results in a reduction of the appearance of the treated vascular skin lesion.

How many treatments will be required?

The number of treatments required vary from individual to individual and the skin condition that is being treated. Multiple treatments are typically required. Treatments last about 15 to 20 minutes and can be performed every 3 to 4 weeks.
